Is Swippie a swiping app?
No. There is no swiping and no endless feed. Each day Swippie's algorithm introduces you to up to 5 people chosen for real compatibility on both sides.
How does a blind date work?
From any match you can plan a blind date: propose a time, and if they accept, you both join a voice-only call with cameras off (you can join up to 10 minutes early). During the call you can both press Reveal to see each other. Afterwards, each of you privately chooses to continue or end.
When do I see their photos?
Matches see your name, bio and interests, never your photos, until you both choose to continue after your date. If either of you ends it, the photos stay locked and the match ends.
Does the AI talk for me?
Never. Every message in a chat comes from the real person you matched with. The AI can suggest conversation openers, and that is all. Suggestions can be wrong, so use your own judgment.
What is the Sidekick?
An optional AI dating coach. It learns about you only with your consent to improve your matches, shows you exactly what it is learning, lets you delete any of it, and you can switch it off any time.
Who can I be matched with?
You set the rules: the gender you are looking for, age range, location (your city or another city you choose), dealbreakers, and the minimum compatibility score you want to see.
How do I get the free year of Premium?
The first 100 members to sign up get a full year of Premium free: longer 7-day match windows and +24h match extensions.
Is it safe?
Swippie is 18+ only. You can report or block anyone, delete your account at any time from Profile settings, and optional identity verification is planned. See our Privacy Policy and Terms for details.
