1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account or using Swippie, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility — You must be 18 or older
Swippie is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you are 18 or older.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as needed. You can delete your account at any time from Profile settings — deletion permanently removes your profile, matches, messages, and learned preferences.
4. AI Features
Swippie uses artificial intelligence to choose your daily matches, estimate compatibility, suggest conversation openers, and power the optional Sidekick dating coach. Every message in a chat comes from the real person you matched with — AI never writes or replies on anyone's behalf. AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate; use your own judgment.
5. Identity Verification
We may offer identity verification through a third-party provider. Verification is optional unless required. Verification status is shown on profiles but does not guarantee identity or safety.
6. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, bio text, chat messages). You grant Swippie a license to use your content to provide and improve the service, including AI matching. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, or that violates someone else's rights.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You will not use Swippie to harass, threaten, or deceive others; to solicit money; to share inappropriate or non-consensual content; or to misuse the AI features to harm others. Violating these rules may result in account termination.
8. Premium Subscriptions
Swippie offers optional Premium subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed by your app store or payment provider and renew automatically unless canceled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your provider. Prices are shown before purchase.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time.
10. Disclaimers
Swippie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee matches, compatibility outcomes, or that the AI features will be error-free. Compatibility scores are estimates, not guarantees.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swippie is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
